Originally from China but now based in New York, Li Liu started learning acrobatics at the age of six. Li has toured all over the world with The Liaoning State Circus, and has appeared with Zirkus Knie in Switzerland and Circus Roncali in Germany.

For two years she appeared in the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus in the US where she has resided since 2003. Li’s school performance includes Chinese plate spinning, foot juggling, hand balancing, artistic cycling, ribbon dancing, and Chinese water bowl manipulation.
